Free computer course for women  28.09.07

A Certificate in Science in Computing is scheduled to begin on October 15th, 2007, in Clonmany Youth & Community Centre.
A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed. An information / registration morning will be held in the centre on Monday, October 8th, at 11am for people who would like to find out more.
This is a FETAC Level Six course and is free to participants as it is funded by the
WEA’s Opportunities for Women Learning (OWL) Project. It is open to women aged 23 and over who have completed the ECDL or equivalent. The course is part-time, of twelve weeks duration, and will run three mornings a week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 9.45 am to 1.45pm.
The course includes an interesting and challenging mix of subjects which offer you an opportunity to develop your computing skills in a supportive adult-learner environment.
