Tús Scheme in Inishowen
Have you been in receipt of Jobseekers for at least 12 months?
Are you aged between 18 and 65? Would you like to get back into the
workplace?
If so, the Tús scheme could be for you.
We currently have possible positions available throughout Inishowen
which include: Administration, Caretaking, Coaching, Environmental
Workers, Kitchen and Childcare Assistants.

Inishowen Disability Community Action (IDCA) is an organisation
based in Carndonagh that provides a mini bus service for people with
disabilities in Inishowen.

group for parents/guardians of children and young people with a

Do you have 1-2 hours to spare per week? The Good Morning Service
Donegal's Befriending Scheme urgently requires volunteers for all
areas of Inishowen. The Befriending Service matches volunteers with
people over 60 years of age who feel isolated, lonely or are
housebound for whatever reason.
The volunteer provides companionship, support and a 'friendly face'
within a structured befriending framework. Our specific Dementia
Befriending Service has the additional aim of giving carers a
little time out. Garda Vetting will apply and full volunteer

Colgan Community and Resource Centre: The committee of the Colgan
Hall are looking for new members. This committee has worked
tirelessly to make the hall the great community centre it has

The cancer support and social club meet in Milltown House
Carndonagh at 7.30 on the second Monday of every month. The group is
a friendly group and welcomes anyone who has been affected by a
cancer diagnosis, patient, carer, family member or friend. It is a
tough journey for everyone and sometimes sharing with others can
help .

Ceolan school of music is a newly established community
initiative for teaching music to children aged 6-18 years.
Our main focus is traditional Irish music. Tuition will be offered
in 1) whistle 2) fiddle 3) button accordion 4) piano accordion 5)
traditional singing. Tuition will also be available in other
instruments depending on demand: harp/ flute/ pipes /banjo /mandolin
/bouzouki /traditional piano accompaniment / introductory classical
violin / music theory.
Fees- €10 to enrol in the music school for the year. This covers
operational costs and provision of all teaching materials. Each
weekly lesson is €6/hour. Pupils will be divided into classes
depending on ability. Class numbers will be limited.
Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings in Moville Community
College. We have a limited stock of
fiddles that can be loaned out for a small fee. For further
