Gardai are
investigating an alleged sex attack on a young woman
in a Buncrana alleyway in the early hours of
Saturday. |
Garda Inspector Donal
Sweeney confirmed that officers are probing an
incident reported to have happened in the alleyway
alongside the Bank of Ireland on Lower Main Street
around 3.20am.
Inspector Sweeney said a woman in her early 20s was
allegedly assaulted in the disused laneway after
earlier attending a nightclub in the town. The scene
was sealed off around 4pm on Saturday afternoon for
forensic investigation. |
