Bridie gets fitted out for her MBE 18.04.08

LUDDEN woman Bridie McLaughlin got fitted out by Topline Fashions in Buncrana last week for her trip to London to pick up her MBE.
The entire styling session was captured on film by the RTE Nationwide team.
Retired nurse Bridie was the only person from the Republic of Ireland to be named on this year's New Year's Honours List.

She retired last June from her position at Altnagelvin Hospital where she specialised in acute medical nursing. She was nominated for the award by senior members of the medical staff at the hospital.
Topline staff including Roisin Doherty, Deborah Doherty and owners Charlie and Tina McDaid, helped Bridie get in the spirit of the event with a few laughs and a glass of bubbly.
And the local woman looked effortlessly stylish in a carefully chosen pink suit and elegant hat. You can see Bridie's preparations for her trip by tuning in to Nationwide on RTE One on Wednesday, May 7.
