A Job Fair will be held
next month in Buncrana as a way to connect job
seekers with businesses looking to recruit.
The one day cross-border event will be held in the
Inishowen Gateway Hotel on March 5 from 10.30am to
6.30pm. It is being organised by the Inishowen
Development Partnership's Job Club in association
with FAS, the North's Department for Employment and
Learning, the Department of Social, Community and
Family Affairs and Eures-Crossborder.
A Job Club spokesperson said the fair would be ideal
for putting job seekers in touch with employers.
"Employers from Inishowen, Derry and Letterkenny who
are looking for staff will be there so job seekers
should come along and see what's on offer," said the
spokesperson. Interested employers and job seekers
