Fancy a career in radio? 21.10.08

INISHOWEN'S community radio station ICRfm is organising a unique series of fully-accredited radio training courses.
The Community Radio Broadcasting Skills training courses start in November and are supported by the Donegal VEC, Pobal with accreditation by FETAC.
Station manager, Jim Doherty explained that the courses are aimed at anyone with an interest in community radio. "The courses are suitable for both beginners and those with experience and we particularly invite applications from
members of our new immigrant communities," he said.
ICRfm is also inviting applications from young people and early school leavers.
Participants will learn a wide range of skills and topics including CoolEdit, interview techniques, production, research and presentation.
Classes start in November and places are limited. The deadline for applications is October 31, 2008. For more information click here .
