Radio is looking for participants for a new
documentary series chronicling the stories of
returned Irish emigrants. |
The series is called 'Trasna
na dTonnta' and is funded by the Broadcasting
Commission of Ireland's Sound and Vision programme.
The documentary will explore the emigrants' decision
to leave, their impressions and stories of life
abroad and their reasons for returning home. "The
series promises to be an interesting insight into
the different reasons as to why local people have
left and |

a returned to their
native country and will provide an entertaining and
informative look at the experiences of Inishowen
people who have lived and worked abroad," explained
series producer Susan Logue. If you have returned
home in the last 15 years and were living abroad for
a minimum of two years and feel that you have an
