Have a great Daffodil Day 12.02.08

DAFFODIL Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society will take place throughout Inishowen on Friday, March 7.
Last year, people in the peninsula helped towards the €87,000 raised in Donegal on Daffodil Day last year.
The Irish Cancer Society consistently praises the people of Donegal for their generous supporting every year.
All the cash raised on Daffodil Day goes towards the provision of free nationwide patient care services including hospital and community based nursing services for people with cancer and their families.
The services include the National Cancer Helpline (Freefone 1800 200 700), oncology liaison nurses

and specialist palliative care nurses in the community.
Meanwhile, the local Daffodil Day organisers in Carndonagh have appealed for volunteers to help sell daffodils for an hour or two on March 7. "We are also looking for people to donate fresh daffodils," said a spokesperson.
