Celebrating Donegal business women 18.11.09

A NUMBER of female entrepreneurs from Donegal will travel to Mullingar later this week to take part in a seminar celebrating National Women's Enterprise Day.
Among those attending will be Monica Nugent, managing director of Little Comfort which makes, sells and distributes various baby products including eco-friendly cloth nappies. Tracymarie Huston, of TM Designs wedding stationary and Annmarie Doherty, managing partner of Inishowen-based DohertyWhite Digital Marketing and PR, will also attend the conference.
The event, this Friday in the Mullingar Park Hotel, will include video case studies and questions and answer sessions with five successful women entrepreneurs. These include Jill Fitzgerald from Cake Toppers Ireland and Marion Murphy Cooney, a dress designer based in Co Tipperary. The keynote speaker will be An Tánaiste and Enterprise Minister, Mary Coughlan.

on November 20, Donegal Enterprise Board ceo Michael Tunney said: “This is the third annual National Women’s Enterprise Conference organised by the Network of County and City Enterprise Boards and it is a unique opportunity for women in business to hear positive stories from successful businesses, share knowledge and network with other like-minded entrepreneurs."
