'Mr. Stink' named the Read DL book for 2019 01.03.19

'MR. STINK' by author David Walliams has been named this year’s book for Read DL 2019.
Read DL, which was officially launched last night (28 February) in the Central Library in Letterkenny, is a county-wide reading movement designed to bring the people of Donegal together by collectively reading the same book. It aims to foster a love of reading and encourage people, both young and old, to not only read more but to read the same book and to share ideas and perspectives.
Hundreds of children and families across Donegal will get to know Chloe, the loneliest girl in the world who makes friends with Mr Stink, the local tramp, as they participate in this six week project that will see families and communities coming together to rediscover the joy of reading and the magical world of books.
