Red Door celebrates top award

THE Red Door Country
House in Fahan is celebrating after scooping the
'Restaurant Wedding Venue of the Year' title at the
national weddingsonline awards 2014.
More than 31,000 brides and grooms nationwide voted
for their top suppliers and venues in a wide range
of categories. The Red Door Country House was chosen
based on the votes of couples who celebrated their
special day at the beautiful local venue. It was
also judged by a panel of industry specialists with
decisions based on the quality of work and a real
wedding experience. |

“We are delighted to be
chosen as the winner of the national wedding
restaurant venue award at weddingsonline,” said Red
Door wedding co-ordinator, Frances Doherty.
"From the first meeting with a couple until long
after the wedding is over, I just take great
interest and care with them. I’ve made many new
friends over the past few years. We’re very
fortunate to have such a great team here from the
kitchen through to the floor staff and we’re so
thrilled to win this title.”
The Red Door is an 18th century country house
overlooking Lough Swilly. It has grown in popularity
in the past several years and has become especially
popular for smaller weddings of 80-100 people.
