DONEGAL County Council
has today published an online guide to the local
election candidates who seek your vote on Friday,
May 23. The handy interactive map takes you on a
tour of the five electoral areas of Donegal County
Council namely Letterkenny (10 seats); Inishowen
(nine seats); Donegal (six seats); Glenties (six
seats) and Stranorlar (six seats). |

It shows
photographs and affiliations of the 83 party,
non-party and first-time hopefuls who are vying for
one of the 37 seats on the county's local authority.
These include the 18 declared candidates - only
three of whom are women - hoping to take one of the
nine seats in the Inishowen electoral area. |
