Soccer ref Eamon recognised by peers 17.06.14

INISHOWEN soccer referee Eamon Doherty received a recent presentation from the Irish Soccer Referees Society.
The society which represents all the soccer referees in the country held its recent AGM at which refs from throughout the county were recognised for their services to the game locally.

Eamon Doherty was specifically recognised by the branch in appreciation of his services to youth football in the peninsula.
"We have members from all parts of the county ranging from Ballyshannon to Malin and everywhere in between including some from Derry," said chairman of the Donegal branch, Tommy McAree.
"Our members officiate at all games in the Donegal League, Inishowen League, Ulster Senior League, all Youth Leagues in the county and all FAI endorsed competitions," he said.
