Reward offered for missing dog

A DISTRAUGHT Burnfoot
family have appealed to the public to help them find
their beloved pet dog.
Tyson, a Jack Russell, disappeared without trace
from his home in Annaslee, the Maraghs, last
Thursday evening sometime between 5pm and 6pm.
His owners, the Devlin family, now fear the six year
old terrier has been stolen and say they're "in
bits" wondering what happened to him. |
"Tyson is like the
seventh member of our family,” said mum, Rose. "My
16 year old son Jonathan owns him but the other
three children are very upset too.
"The hardest part is that we know he will be
wondering where we have gone to as he has never
slept anywhere other than the bottom of my son's
bed.
"It is like a death in the family and has broken our
hearts. I don't know who would do such a thing to a
family. |

It is cruel and cold
hearted and no child should have to suffer like
this."
The Devlins, who are farmers, have reported the
dog's disappearance to local Gardaí. They have put
up a reward of some €100 for the return of their pet
and have also contacted Donegal Pet Rescue and the
dog warden in Letterkenny in the hope of finding
him.
"I know people might think ‘sure it's only a dog’. I
was someone who would have thought that too until we
lost Tyson. We're in bits about it," added Rose. If
