Inishowen sizzles in weekend sun 16.04.07

Inishowen sizzled over the weekend with temperatures topping an unseasonable 18 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
As families made their way to the beaches from Friday, to make the most of the last days of the school holidays, gardeners hauled out the lawnmowers and the peninsula's golf courses, scenic walks and parks were thronged.

While the kids return to their school desks today after the Easter break, the weather will continue mostly dry and settled with sunny intervals for the rest of the week.
According to Met Eireann, good sunny spells will develop this afternoon.
Tomorrow will see temperatures hovering around 12 degrees Celsius returning to warmer values of around 16

There will be a slight break in the weather on Thursday, however, with light showers predicted and temperatures of around 13 degrees Celsius.
It will revert to bright and sunny conditions on Friday but temperatures will return to more seasonal averages, say forecasters.
