:: Moville GAA Club 13.03.17

Our senior men began life back in division 3 with a home game against Fanad Gaels and got the game off to a great start and found themselves leading by 3 points to no score inside the 1st 15 mins through long range efforts from Christy Hegarty Micheal Barr and Danny Murphy. Fanad responded with a point before Barr Murphy and senior debutant Patrick Faulkner scored to leave Moville leading at the break 0-6 to 0-2. At the start of the second half Fanad made a couple of changes that got them back in the game and reduced the score by two before Barr got another score. Fanad then scored 1-02 without reply to hit the front and Micheal Barr again kept Moville within touching distance before Fanad added a couple more scores to see out the game and go home with the first two league points of the season on a final score 1-08 to 0-08 in favour of the visitors.
