MORE than 40 women were
recently pampered in Bridgend by big-hearted
hairdressers raising money for Alzheimer's patients.
The Inishowen branch of the Donegal Alzheimer’s
Society yesterday thanked and congratulated Breige
and Karen from Image Cut Hair and Beauty Salon in
the border village for their "excellent fund and
hair raising evening" that resulted in a €800 boost
for the society.
"On the night Breige, Karen, Aisling, Roisin, Clare,
Francis, Michelle, Ciara, Breige D, Helen and
Danielle worked their nimble fingers to pamper over
40 ladies who received three hair and/or beauty
treatments for €20," said a spokesperson.
"Each of the girls gave their time and Breige and
Karen also gave the use of the premises and the
products totally free to raise the much needed
funds.
"It is very special when you have a group such as
the girls at Image Cut who know how vitally
important fundraising is to the Alzheimer’s Society
and this is the second year they have supported us
in this way so we thank them and all of the clients
who took part on the night." |
