New fire engines for Donegal  14.09.07

THE Donegal Fire Service is to get five new fire engines to help firefighters in their lifesaving work throughout the county.
The allocation was welcomed this week by Senator Cecilia Keaveney, whose hometown of Moville has a new state-of-the-art fire station that will be operational shortly.
Senator Keaveney said she will campaign to have one of the five new tenders allocated to the new station at Lower Main Street. She said Moville fire crews have been operating for many years with outdated equipment.
