Farmer dies at level crossing 03.08.07

A FARMER was killed yesterday near Limavady when his tractor collided with a train travelling from Derry.
Seventy-year old James Craig died in the crash at an unmanned level crossing on the Carrowclare Road around 3.30pm.
No passengers or train staff were hurt although the driver was very shaken, said Translink.
Rail services were disrupted for some time while passengers were taken by bus to their destinations.
Mr. Craig's son, Robert, said his father was "a character".
"He loved farming, his life was for farming.
James Craig.
He took very little holidays, just worked hard and he kept us working hard," he told the BBC. An investigation is now underway into the accident.
