Donegal North East Niall Blaney who is a member of the 15-strong Fianna Fail Northern Ireland Strategy Committee and the only representative from the North West.

From left, Foreign Affairs Minister, Dermot Ahern who is chairman of the FF NI Strategy Committee and committee member Deputy Niall Blaney.
We are very much at the early stages of this process, and we will be careful to listen to all view points expressed by our members throughout.
“Currently, the committee does not feature any representative from the North but it is likely that the role of the committee will evolve with time and discussion, and we expect that there will be involvement from a Northern representative with time,” he added.
