Are you aged 65 or over? Then why not avail of our Free Internet Training which can be provided in a variety of settings such as your own home, libraries, day centres or community facilities. The cancer support and social club meet in Milltown House Carndonagh at 7.30 on the second Monday of every month. The group is a friendly group and welcomes anyone who has been affected by a cancer diagnosis, patient, carer, family member or friend. It is a tough journey for everyone and sometimes sharing with others can help .

The Friendly Face Befriending Scheme is aimed at further reducing the social isolation of people over the age of 60yrs in the Inishowen community through the matching of a volunteer befriender with an individual who may feel socially isolated or vulnerable. Volunteers will participate in comprehensive training and have Garda Clearance before they are matched with a befriendee.
We are urgently seeking volunteers from all over Inishowen so if you have a few hours to spare each week we would be very happy to hear from you.

Ceolan school of music is a newly established community initiative for teaching music to children aged 6-18 years.
Our main focus is traditional Irish music. Tuition will be offered in 1) whistle 2) fiddle 3) button accordion 4) piano accordion 5) traditional singing. Tuition will also be available in other instruments depending on demand: harp/ flute/ pipes /banjo /mandolin /bouzouki /traditional piano accompaniment / introductory classical violin / music theory.
Fees- €10 to enrol in the music school for the year. This covers operational costs and provision of all teaching materials. Each weekly lesson is €6/hour. Pupils will be divided into classes depending on ability. Class numbers will be limited.
