Top entrepreneurs for Burt seminar 08.10.07

INISHOWEN is to host the first ever Regional Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Conference later this month.
Local business people will get the chance to learn from Ireland’s leading enterprise expert at the seminar to be held at An Grianan Hotel, Burt on October 23.
Paula Fitzsimons is an internationally recognised expert on entrepreneurship and a former director of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Association. She has advised the Irish government on the development of its national enterprise policy.

and Spoon, a Newry-based catering firm that supplies high-quality freshly prepared meals to crèches and children’s nurseries. Trish and her business partner Donna Devlin will describe the challenges they’ve overcome as they developed a successful cross-border business. Professor Dolores O’Reilly of the International Business Strategy at the University of Ulster, Magee, will chair the half-day seminar. The conference is part of a rolling programme of events promoting enterprise in the North West and aiming to establish Derry and Donegal as a prime location for establishing or growing a business.
