Families visit the Advent Garden

FAMILIES enjoyed the
unique Advent Garden in St. Eugene's Hall, Moville,
yesterday afternoon. |
Set against the
backdrop of beautiful festive harp music, the Advent
Garden involved parents and children in a graceful
ceremony as they walked the circles of a candlelit
'garden', lit their own candles from a central
Advent candle and placed it in the garden.
The Advent Garden was hosted by Inishowen
Kindergarten again |

this year due to
popular demand.
It was among a large number of events taking place
around the peninsula in the run-up to Christmas.
Other gatherings to look forward to are the ever
popular tree lighting ceremonies in the various
towns and villages, craft fairs and Christmas
bazaars. |
