Calling Buncrana creative writers 28.07.08

A DONEGAL writer is encouraging budding scribes in Buncrana to join him in a new workshop this autumn.
Patrick Kearney will host his Introduction to Creative Writing Workshops for new and developing writers for ten weeks at Tullyarvan Mill beginning on September 10. The workshops running from 7.30pm to 9.30pm will be designed to support emerging writers with prose and poetry and to help them develop their voice as writers.
"The writers will discuss the work of a variety of writers and explore opportunities towards publication of their own novels, short stories, memoirs and poetry with Donegal's new book publisher, The Stoners' Press," said Patrick.
"The Stoner's Press is actively looking for emerging writers in Donegal to submit their writings for possible publication. Participation in the creative writing workshops would place the writers and their material in direct contact with the publisher and maximise new
