Mummers say thanks to Inishowen

A MUMMERS charity group
has thanked the people of Inishowen for their great
support at Christmas over the years.
The Sheephaven Mummers from Dunfanaghy and
Creeslough recently held their presentation night at
which cheques totalling €17,500 were handed out. |

A cheque for €11,500
was presented to Carie Harvey and Mary McGarry from
the Donegal Hospice while a cheque for €6,000 was
given to Mary Chandler Kavanagh from the Adrian
Mitchell Society.
"The Mummers raised a total of €17,500 this year in
the run up to Christmas all over Donegal. The
Mummers would like to thank everyone for their
continuing great support especially in Inishowen
where they have received great support over the
years," said a spokesperson. The Mummers also
thanked their sponsors and the musicians, singers
and anyone who helped make the fundraising drive so
successful. |
