Class and style at Donegal Design Week 12.03.08

COMPANIES that integrate design into their business are two and a half times more likely to succeed that those that don’t, according to Donegal Minister Mary Coughlan.
The Minister revealed the startling statistic when when she performed the official launch of Donegal Design Week - currently underway in Letterkenny.

Photo: Liam Sweeney The local expo includes a series of showcases for Donegal designers including the Donegal Design Conference today Wednesday, March 12, and 'Show Off' a design exhibition featuring designers such as Marina Hamilton, painter and sculptor; Doherty Furniture and Kitchen Makers; Sharp Design; Patricia Given Couture; Made with Wood, Shaun Egan Photography; WORCstudio; Eilish Kennedy Designs; McGonigle Glass and Hannah McGuinness Jewellery. All design events will take place at the Regional Cultural Centre and attendance is free.
Donegal Design Week, part of Enterprising Donegal Business Week 2008, runs until
