Dancing in the 19 to 21
year old men’s section at the weekend, it was a
dream-come-true for Aidan who is a pupil of the
McConomy School of Irish Dancing in Derry. He is
well known in Irish dancing circles locally and has
scooped a number of prestigious titles over the
years. He started dancing at the tender age of five
and has won a number of championship trophies in his
dancing career to date including the All Ireland,
Ulster and American.
This was Aidan's tenth year competing in the World
Championships and 2008 was to be the year he would
pick up the ultimate crown. |
