Gardai are
investigating the discovery of a man's body in a
house in Buncrana. The state pathologist, Dr. Marie
Cassidy is on her way to
the scene - Pairc na hAluine, a housing
development in the Magherinture area of the town.
It's understood the man, named locally today as
Paudie Taylor, suffered stab wounds to the chest.
Supt. Jimmy Coen this morning told InishowenNews.com
that his officers were not looking for anyone else
in relation to the incident.
"Nevertheless, we will be awaiting the outcome of
the post mortem," he said.
It's understood Mr. Taylor was in his 50s and
originally from Dublin. A former taxi driver in the
town, it is believed he was estranged from his wife. Supt. Coen confirmed that the body was
discovered around 4.30pm on Thursday but said he
could not divulge at this stage, who made the
discovery. |
