Beauty in Pink comes to Buncrana

FANCY getting pampered
with a facial, a massage or a manicure while helping
cancer patients at the same time?
The Seagrass Wellbeing Centre at the Inishowen
Gateway Hotel are taking part in this year's Beauty
In Pink Week in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation.
The centre will host a great fundraiser in aid of
the foundation on Wednesday April 30. |

"We are inviting people
to book a facial, a massage, a manicure, a pedicure
or a spray tanning treatment for that day. All
profits from these treatments will be donated to the
foundation.
"Our staff are donating their time on the day and
there will be keyrings and badges for sale on the
day also. All proceeds from these are also being
donated to the foundation," said Inishowen Gateway
Hotel sales and marketing manager, Martin Bonner. |
The Marie Keating
Foundation provides a wide range of services to
cancer patients around the country free of charge.
These services include a patient comfort fund for
people experiencing financial difficulty, mobile
units staffed with registered nurses who travel
countrywide providing cancer information and
awareness to all, a schools programme. The
Foundation also runs a programme to refurbish
hospital oncology waiting rooms into more pleasant
surroundings.
