Diggers demolish Waterfront remains 14.03.09

A WELL known corner of Moville has changed dramatically after diggers moved in to demolish the remains of the Waterfront bar and restaurant.
The popular sea-front premises was completely destroyed when a fire broke out in the early hours of Sunday, February 1. The blaze robbed Moville of 40 much-needed full and part-time jobs as well as a restaurant enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Around 50 fire-fighters from Moville, Derry, Buncrana, Carndonagh, Letterkenny and Strabane, fought what was
described as one of the worst fires in living memory in Donegal. Gardai are not treating the fire as suspicious.
