Carn keen to stay top 11.12.09

THE first round of the boy’s secondary schools rugby cup was played in Letterkenny last week. The schools competing were Carndonagh Community School, Colaiste Colmcille and St Columba’s College.
The games were all very keenly contested with some very good running rugby on display in wet conditions.
The cup will be played over two legs with the final day scheduled for after Christmas. A spokesperson said Carndonagh would be keen to keep themselves in pole position to lift the first U18 Donegal Schools Cup.
