Carrigans hosts first Orange parade in 45 years 19.05.09

TAUGHBOYNE in Carrigans enjoyed a big celebration last week when it hosted its first Orange parade in 45 years. Around 150 members of the Order took part in the Royal Arch Purple Chapter parade as it wended its way along the one mile route from Monreagh to Taughboyne Parish Church on a gloriously sunny Sunday, May 10.
