Henry Girl presents toddler concert 19.01.09

INSHOWEN musician Lorna McLaughlin will be part of a music workshop and concert for young children later this week in Derry.
Lorna is better known as one of the sister trio, the Henry Girls but also leads the Gags Beasley Trio.
The concert will take place on Thursday, January 22, at 10am in St Columb's Park House in association with Music55-7 from the University of Ulster at Magee.
The session for tots aged two to five years and their parents and guardians, will include a short performance and an interactive workshop including singing, playing percussion and a chance to meet the musicians and their instruments.
Workshop leader Sarah Murphy explains: "I'm looking forward to a really lovely event. Getting young kids involved in music is great for their development and Gags Beasley's mix of quirky songs and sense of fun is ideal."
