Covid cases double in Inishowen 02.10.20

The incidence of Coronavirus has more than doubled in Inishowen, according to the latest statistics on Ireland's COVID-19 Data Hub . The figures, released yesterday, show that in the fourteen days up to Monday, 28th of September, the rate of infection has increased in North Inishowen from below 5 to 19 cases. In South Inishowen, meanwhile, the number of cases has risen from 13 to 26.
The stark data comes as Donegal remains under Level Three restrictions. These restrictions were introduced on 25th of September and will continue until Friday, 16th of October.

Latest 14 Day Incidence of confirmed Covid-19 cases (15/09/20 to 28/09/20)
North Inishowen: 19 cases (112 per 100k)
South Inishowen: 26 (116 cases per 100k)

Previous 14 Day Incidence of confirmed Covid-19 cases (08/09/20 to 21/09/20)
North Inishowen: less than 5 cases
South Inishowen: 13 (58 cases per 100k)
