Donegal Boston lads raise €3K by a
whisker

A GROUP of Inishowen
friends in Boston who grew moustaches during
Movember have donated an impressive €3,150 to a
local charity.
The lads who took part in the hairy Stateside
challenge were Michael Caldwell, Philip McEleney,
Mark Canny, Willy Doc, Matthew Cutliffe, Christy
Bell, Liam McClay, Owen McGonigle, Gerard O'Kane,
Darren Doherty and Brian Kelly. |
"Me and a few of the
lads here in Boston did Movember for the cancer bus
that runs from Letterkenny to Galway. We raised
$4495 and it worked out €3150," Brian explained.
"I hope it also raises awareness for the charity and
maybe they will get more fundraising."
Brian donated the funds raised during his most
recent trip home. |
