Holy lot of interest in €50K
church

MOVILLE estate agent
Leo McCauley is expecting a holy lot of interest in
a church he has for sale at €50,000.
The old Church of Ireland building at Tullynavin,
Redcastle, stands on circa one acre of woodland and
has beautiful elevated views over Lough Foyle.
The old church, now in severe disrepair, was built
in 1853 and has many character features.
Leo says the property would suit someone interested
in restoring an old building for domestic or
commercial use. |

"It was the old parish
church of Upper Moville and proceeds from the sale
will be used to finance improvements to other
churches that are in use.
"The property could be put to a range of uses by a
new owner, subject to planning. We've already had a
number of calls about it," he said.
The church is located off the main Moville to
Redcastle road. There is a right of way to a
graveyard that is still in use, while a single grave
in the front lawn is also excluded from the sale. A
ruined former school house to the front of the site
is included in the sale and offers potential for
extra accommodation. |
